The International Brotherhood of Teamsters sends its scholarship information and applications to the local near the end of October. The Joint Council of Teamsters No. 42 sends its scholarship information and applications to the local near the end of January. Its deadline is going to be around May 31, 2005.

The information and applications for the Hispanic Caucus scholarship are usually sent to the local in February of each year. The application deadline for this year will probably be around April 16, 2005, and completed applications will need to be returned to this office for verification of membership two weeks before the deadline. This scholarship is for $1,000, and applicants do not have to be of Hispanic descent to be eligible.

Applications will be available on September 1, 2004, and the deadline to apply is approximately January 31, 2005. To receive an application by mail, send in a postcard, with your name, address, telephone number, and international union name clearly printed on it, to Union Plus Scholarship Program, P. O.
