Jorge "JJ" Garcilazo has several years of experience as a Business Agent with a Teamsters Local in Colorado. Jorge brings an improved level of service to our Spanish speaking members with his ability to read, write and speak Spanish fluently. Local 381 will now be able to translate contracts into Spanish for our members with limited English skills. Jorge has a great deal of experience with grievance resolution, and will be assisting with contract negotiations for the contracts that he has been assigned to administer.

Jorge has seen that the union must be a force in society to bring about change. He has leaned that unions brought about work place safety, 40 work week and retirement benefits. He is proud to be part of keeping those ideals in place for his members.
